Travel essentials

My boyfriend and I kicked off the new year with an amazing vacation. We took a cruise departing from San Juan, Puerto Rico. The ship traveled to some of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen. We had a wonderful time. Needless to say we did a whole lot of eating and drinking. I’m looking forward to getting back to my regular healthy lifestyle. I wanted to share with you all my top must have vacation products. More vacation pictures at the end of this post. 🚢🏝🌴🌺🏖👙🌊

  1. St. Thomas ☀️
  2. St. Lucia ☀️
  3. Barbados ☀️
  4. St. Kitts ☀️
  5. St. Maarten☀️

Skin:

Number one most important product: SUNSCREEN, SUNSCREEN, SUNSCREEN. I can’t express to you how much  I stress  protecting my skin from the sun. I mostly just tanned my body. I kept a towel over my face as much as possible.

Fresh Black Tea Age-Delay Lotion

Coppertone Sport

This drug store sunscreen is super affordable. My skin stayed protected all day. I didint have to worry about going in and out of the ocean and having to reapply since its sweat proof/water proof.

Fresh Soy Face Cleanser

This is one of my favorite face cleansers. Sephora has a “beauty on the fly” section every item is travel friendly. The travel size I took along with me was only $15.

Murad Invisiblur Protecting Shield

This is a new staple product for me. I love how it smooths, protects, and treats my skin. This is the only product I used daily to protect my face. It feels like silk going on to my face. The best part is that I used it as a primer as well.

As far as makeup I honestly didn’t  wear too much. The only time I would do my makeup was for dinner.

 Chocolate Bar Eye Shadow

Dark Chocolate Soleil

Maybelline Fit Me Dewy + Smooth

  1. Greetings Sarmichell!

How wonderful it is to be here! I love that you began with beauty essentials for vacations. The minimalist approach with quality leading is imperative! And I’m a make-up maven, everywhere, so I’d have had the Too Faced palette. Yes, indeed, indeed. Your photos are clear and dreamy perfect, with the island pics taking me by the hand and walking my feet to white sand! O goodness, what a way to begin the year!! Set the example, I say!

So happy you had a delightful time! This year I will be getting more travel in myself…

    Beauty Blessings,
    Claudia

  2. I have that eye palette and you are so right — essential! Great colors AND it smells like chocolate dust. How can you possibly go wrong with that one??? Great post, adorable monkey buddy.
